“Football and watching TV”

Just one of the many intelligent questions Keith Masefield had to answer in this “interview“. In the 80′s Masefield played for Haarlem. The fullback was one of my favourite players back then. Nowadays he is playing in Hoofddorp for Overbos 2. Since he is playing with number four, i assume that the former fullback is now playing as a centre-back.

In the interview, we learn that Keith Masefield prefers Homer Simpson over Eric Cartman, broke his nose and calf leg twice and is addicted to oranges. His favourite food is fish & chips and his favourite club West Bromwich Albion.

The jersey he is wearing is quite similar to the one of Aston Villa, where he played at the early start of his career.

All of that might not mean a thing to any of you, but finding this silly interview was the highlight of my day. Any Haarlem fan who remembers the good old days will understand why.
