Eagles of Death Metal - Heart On

By coincedence i found out that Eagles of Death Metal released a new album. And when that happens, there is only one thing i can do and that is go out an buy the damn thing.

I just played it from beginning to end and i like it. But i miss a few things that was always there in the first two albums. For example, there is no track that make me instantly make me say “hell yeah!”. And i miss the really gritty dirty stuff. Instead of madly jiving with the devil, this album sounds a little bit more polished and the lyrics are at some times even somewhat introspective. Maybe EoDM have evolved from a crazy side project to something a little bit more serious and i just need to catch up.

I’m gonna upload it to my MP3 player and listen to it some more. Who knows, i might learn to love this album after all. It wouldn’t be the first time that that happens.
