Winamp 5.52

This weekend i downloaded the latest edition of Winamp. I really like it. You can’t only play media files, it is also a great portal to interesting media from around the world. The tv channels are great fun, but i like the Shoutcast radio stations best, there is huge wealth of great Shoutcast radio stations to be discovered. I’m considering to upgrade to the Pro version. In the Pro version you can convert audio files to other format, for example OGG to WMA.

Kill the FM

I have been listening to the French Radio Station Kill the FM throughout the weekend.It is great radio if you are interested in alternative rock from Europe and you don’t mind listening to Kate Nash right after some French hiphop. I don’t mind at all. In fact, i kind of get a kick out of it! Kill the FM is a great place to discover interesting new music, For example:

Mell

Mell rocks. I love her single “Encore Une Nuit Blanche”, because it mixes genres like jazz and the French chanson. I’m a sucker for stuff like that. You can check out Mell’s Myspace page here and here you can hear samples of her album “Mon Pied en Pleine Face”.
