TuneUp Utilities 2008

One of the problems with Microsoft Windows is the lack of maintenance applications. And the ones that are there are nothing to be excited about. I have replaced them a long time ago with TuneUp Utilities.

The latest installment of TuneUp Utilities comes with a drive defragger, which was the only thing i was still missing with TuneUp Utilities 2007. Apart from that you get a lot of other tools to enhance the performance of your pc. You can de-clutter your registry with the Registry Cleaner, uninstall software, check out your hard drive with the Disk Doctor, undelete files or make sure you really delete a file with the Tuneup Shredder. There is the TuneUp Memory Optimizer that helps you free up system memory and the TuneUp StartUp Manager that helps you to start up the pc with nothing more than the software you immediately need.

And there is a whole lot more of neat little applications that help you to repair, maintain and optimize your Windows pc. I have been using TuneUp Utilities for several years and it has made my life with Windows a whole lot easier.

You can download TuneUp Utilities 2008 here and try it out yourself for free a whole month. After that, you can continue using it for only $49,95 and updating to the next version will cost you $39,95. I think that the Registry Cleaner alone is worth the money.

If you like me are still stuck with Windows, you should definitely check out TuneUp Utilities 2008.

One day, Dolf… We’ll get ya to dump that windows, haha! Just need to find a really KICK ASS game for Ununtu!! haha.

One of the things I have always hated about Windows is the registry. If you must run windows, then a clean registry is mandatory if, you want a “better” running machine.
