Little linkdump

A little Vista bashing

While Apple have their own problems with hard drives that could crash any moment (link), the company always find time to ridicule their opponent at Redwood. For the record,i use Windows, OSX and Linux. Linux (Ubuntu) is so far the only O.S that i upgraded without hesitation. I will stay clear from both Vista and Leopard for now. But as always with Mac commercials, this one is fun to watch.

Upgrading Windows 2003 Server to SP2 was not painful at all!! Totally surprised me! I fully expected to be messing around for days, when in fact, it was a mere matter of a couple of hours to upgrade and test and release to the hounds as live…

I had never any problems whatsoever with 2003. The most tricky jobs are done by an external techie (a hired Huml so to speak), but i never ever encountered problems of any sort. I can’t say that of its predecessor. I do not have fond memories of 2000 server.

LOL @ “a hired Huml”… Dirt cheap labor, haha. Yeah, 2000 wasn’t much fun, but in comparison to NY 3.5 or 4, I will take 2000, haha. Although, while NT 3.5 was really picky with hardware, it sure was a solid OS!!!
