Gabe in Amsterdam

I really enjoyed this one. Peter Gabriel was in top form and he spoiled us by playing songs that he hasn’t performed live for ages. I never would have guessed i would be watching him sing A Family And a Fishing Net again, but i’m so glad he did! Awesome song.

I’m going to keep an close eye on the Tour Diary to see if the Gabriel crew had an equal good time. Probably not, because the weather was really bad.

And i can’t wait until the recording of the concert arrives at my home. I’m not talking about a flimsy illegal bootleg, but an official bootleg.

The picture was taken by my buddy Onno. He has taken shitload more, and he just might put them all online sooner or later. He also shot some video footage, but i’m not sure how that worked. I suspect that the audio on those will pretty cranky.

Age. Gabriel is 57 (He looks older; it must have something to do with four decades of sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll). David Rhodes is 51.
