Note to self

When you screw up xog.conf, don’t just whine about it, fix it!

Start up Pardus, until it halts

press CTRL+ALT+F2

Now you are in text mode.

Log in as root

now type: cd etc/x11

Then type: nano xorg.conf

Note how simple it is to use nano? Thank god that you didn’t have to use Vi!

Now add 1024×768 as a resolution.

Restart the pc.

Not only does it work again, but now you can use the 1280×768 resolution too!

Tap yourself on the shoulder for a job well done.

Log the event in your blog.

Get dressed already!

    Congratulations!
I look forward to someday understanding what you’ve done.
