A few weeks ago i stopped eating meat for all the obvious reasons: pitiful animals, unfair distribution of wealth and the damage it does to the enviroment. I don’t think i have to eleborate on that.
I also want to make clear that i’m in no way a vegetarian. Doing that would also have meant that i would have to miss my beloved cheese sandwiches. I can’t do a day without cheese.
My current “omnivore lite” diet, didn’t give me any problems at all. Until now. One of my co-workers is celebrating his birthday and as a treat for us he brought some original Italian lasagna. I don’t think they use much tofu over there.
I fucking love lasagna. You can wake me up for it. I would kill for it.
But i’m going to be strong. I’m ordering some brie sandwiches instead. I must not forget to mention that i don’t want slices of pickle on them.
Is decorating brie sandwiches with slices of pickle a worldwide problem, or is it just Dutch foolishness?

Hell, I don’t even know what a Brie sandwich is.
I’m not aware of anybody promoting the use of pickles with brie here in the States.
Eating cheese means your not a vegan. Vegetarians are allowed to eat products come from animals like dairy and eggs.
Vegans don’t go for any of that.
I hate to be the one to tell you but marshmellows contain gelatin which is made from horses hoofs. That means no Jello either.
I did allow myself to eat a Moon Pie, which contains marshmellow and I’ll do it again next year.
